Terms of Use

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you ("User") and Sumi ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Sumi, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Who may use Sumi

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sumi. By using the app you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and have authority to agree to these Terms.

3. Account registration & authentication

You may create an account using third-party sign-in providers (for example Apple, Google). The information we receive depends on what the provider shares (usually name, email, and profile picture). You are responsible for the accuracy of information you provide.

4. Free version & paid tiers

Sumi offers:

• Free plan: Basic tracking features. Does NOT include the AI assistant or multi-currency conversion.
• Weekly subscription: $4.99/week with a 3-day free trial. After the trial, $4.99 billed weekly.
• Annual subscription: $24.99/year, no trial.
• Lifetime: one-time purchase of $39.99.

All fees are in USD unless otherwise stated. Prices and offers may change; we will notify users of material changes.

Billing & renewals

Subscriptions are handled through the App Store / Google Play (or other store) and are subject to their billing terms. By purchasing, you authorize the app store to charge you. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the renewal date. To cancel, manage, or turn off auto-renewal, use the subscription management tools provided by your device’s app store.

Trials

Free trials are limited to one per account/device and may be subject to restrictions. If you do not cancel during the trial, the subscription will convert to a paid recurring subscription.

Refunds

Refunds for subscription charges are handled by the app store (Apple or Google). Contact the store for refund requests. We may, at our discretion, issue refunds for certain purchases — contact hello@constantout.com.

App Store subscription information

The following information is provided to comply with App Store requirements for auto-renewable subscriptions.

Sumi Pro Weekly

• Title: Sumi Pro Weekly
• Length: 1 week, auto-renewing
• Price: $4.99 per week
• Free trial: 3 days

Sumi Pro Annual

• Title: Sumi Pro Annual
• Length: 1 year, auto-renewing
• Price: $24.99 per year
• Free trial: none

Billing, renewal & cancellation

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription and turn off auto-renewal at any time in your device's App Store subscription settings.

5. Lifetime purchase

A lifetime purchase grants access to the lifetime tier for the current major version of Sumi. Lifetime entitlements may not automatically transfer to major new versions or separate apps.

6. Use of the service

You grant Sumi a license to host, store, and display the content you create in the app (your transactions) as necessary to operate the service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you enter.

7. AI assistant

The AI assistant is an optional feature. If enabled, it may analyze your transactions to provide advice or log transactions on your behalf. You consent to AI processing of enabled data. We will disclose whether AI processing occurs on our servers or via third-party providers in the app or settings where you enable the feature.

8. Privacy

Use of Sumi is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect personal information.

9. Intellectual property

Sumi and its content (excluding your data) are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

10. Prohibited conduct

• Use Sumi for illegal activities.
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these Terms or for any lawful reason. Upon termination, paid subscriptions will be handled per app store policies; we are not responsible for store billing after termination beyond what the store provides.

12. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. NOTHING IN THESE TERMS CONSTITUTES FINANCIAL ADVICE. ANY INFORMATION OR RECOMMENDATIONS PROVIDED BY THE AI ASSISTANT ARE FOR GENERAL INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.

13. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF Sumi IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP OR SUBSCRIPTION IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS (OR $50 IF YOU DID NOT PAY). WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any third-party claim arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the app.

15. Governing law & dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. Any disputes shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in Warsaw, Poland.

16. Changes to these Terms

We may change these Terms. Material changes will be communicated via the app or email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

17. Exporting & Deleting your data

You can export your data from the app in CSV/JSON formats using the in-app export function. To delete your account and data, use the app settings or contact hello@constantout.com. We will process deletion requests in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
